This book is simply wonderful. In this book the author gives the ancient and mystic dignity back to these great expressions of the living being, undisputed protagonists of traditional cultures linked to Mother Earth.
I define this book a sort "pontifical text" (of course in the original, ancient and pre-christian sense) also for the relevant religious features traversing the entire book.
Surely this is neither a botanical nor an anthropology book. If you expect to find here suggestions for gardening or pruning you have completely missed the point.
In this book trees are focused as living being, accompanied by their myths, in the most complete sense of this term.
